Jetix has extended its offerings to over 600 schools across 20 cities in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, with the launch of ‘Jetix Action Academy’. The academy is a school contact programme modelled on a mock military boot camp to enthrall over four lakh children in South India. As is known, Jetix is a pert of The Walt Disney’s bouquet of channels.
Tushar Shah, Director-Marketing and Communications, Walt Disney Television International (India), said “Through our latest offering ‘Jetix Action Academy’, we plan to replicate the unique Jetix environment of fun-filled action across classrooms in South India. We have creatively packaged our entertaining properties to create a riveting brand experience for our young Jetix fans.”
The ‘Jetix Action Academy’ plans to engage children in a series of fun-filled games designed around key shows such as ‘Didi’s Comedy Show’, ‘Goosebumps’, ‘Martin Mystery’, ‘Monster Warriors’ and ‘Power Rangers Mystic Force’. The host will play a funny army sergeant to entertain children during the action-packed on-ground initiative. Kids will also get an opportunity to win goodies; over 35,000 prizes are up for grabs for the participants during the sessions.
