This December, Hungama TV intends to celebrate the festive spirit with the launch of new shows, movies and contests. In keeping with the channel’s personality, Hungama TV will introduce its new initiative called ‘Santabhai’.
Aparna Bhosle, Director-Programming and Production, Walt Disney Television International (India), said, “We continue to excite young fans across India with the ‘mad fun’ proposition of the channel, with yet another initiative ‘Santabhai’. The feedback received from our new Hungama TV Captains has helped us create a fun character that, we are sure, will resonate with kids.”
Hungama TV’s desi ‘Santabhai’ prefers Mumbai city to the chilly North Pole, and is set to paint the channel red with his funny antics, while introducing new shows and contests on-air this month.
The channel will launch a new animation series ‘Detective Conan’ and all new episodes of ‘Shinchan’. The weekends will have the ‘Kaun Banega Pyjamapati’ contest, where the audience gets to vote for the funniest gag from their favourite shows such as ‘Shinchan’, ‘Kochikame’ and ‘Tensai Bakabon’.
The channel will also showcase new movies like ‘Dunston Checks In’, ‘Dr Dolittle’ and ‘Robots and Monsters Inc’ to liven up the weekends.
