15 CEOs sing at 11th edition of ‘CEOs sing for GF Kids’

Genesis Foundation brought together a line-up of 15 CEOs from the corporate world of Bengaluru on a common platform at Genesis Foundation’s CEOs Sing for GF Kids, held at ITC Gardenia at Residency Road in Bengaluru, where they sang to save the lives of 8 underprivileged and critically ill children. 

In this unique fundraiser, these CEOs demonstrated their singing talent with their repertoires ranging from songs of Elvis Presley to Kishore Kumar, to raise funds for facilitating medical assistance to GF kids. 

The event, held in Bengaluru on Saturday 30th August, 2014, was an evening of musical fun where these CEOs entertained a gathering of nearly 200 guests with their singing talent. Entry to this fundraiser was through donor passes and the funds raised from this event will be utilised by Genesis Foundation to provide financial support for life-saving and life-changing medical intervention for 8 critically ill, under-privileged children.

The audience was left spell bound with renditions of Kishore Kumar sung by P Balaji, Sanjay Purohit and Manoj Nair.  Ashok Genomal, Biren Ghose and Valerie Wagoner belted out some foot tapping western numbers.

Prema Sagar, Founding Trustee of Genesis Foundation said, “This was a magical evening with the CEOs showcasing their talent to support a cause close to their hearts. It was indeed enjoyable to see more than 200 guests singing along with them”.  She added, “We are thankful to all the CEOs and supporters of Genesis Foundation for making the time and for participating enthusiastically in this event to Give Life a Chance.”

In order to raise resources to facilitate medical assistance to GF Kids, GF has created unique participative fund-raising events involving music, art and food.  Some of these events are The Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Festival, JadhavGADH Music Festival, CEOs Sing for GF Kids, CEOs Cook for GF Kids, Musical Evenings, Art and Theatre shows.  GF is also the beneficiary of CEOs Got Talent, produced by FremantleMedia.
