Mumbai based errand running service GetMyPeon has, over the past two and a half years of business, offered to help clients with a variety of services, from delivering vada paos to a customer waiting at the airport to taking a client’s grandparent to the doctor. What started off with capital of Rs 20,000 today has managed to gain its first large funding of Rs 1.5 crore.

Commenting on the first round of seed funding, Bharat Ahirwar, Founder - GetMyPeon said, “GetMyPeon was started with a simple vision of running errands for individuals and helping them with their daily chores. This has now turned into a reliable, affordable, dependable and the most available service to get anything personal to official done in the city. Whether it is picking up cakes, parcel, gifts, wedding cards, couriers to taking your car / bike for servicing or receiving guests from the airport/railway station; we offer it all. This round of funding will help us scale up operations to greater heights.”

The funds received will be invested in infrastructure; i.e. technology (front-end and back-end), vehicles, hiring more executives on field, mobile platform and geographical expansion.
