Honda Cars, a leading automobile brand, has awarded its media mandate to dX Cubic under Dentsu X, which is part of the Dentsu Aegis Network, exchange4media has learned. The account was won after a multi-agency pitch. However, GroupM's Motivator, the incumbent agency, which has been handling the account since March 2015 is believed to have not participated in it.
The account size is said to be around Rs 200 crore. Dentsu One, the creative agency from DAN, was already handling the creative mandate of Honda Cars.
Confirming the development, Rajesh Goel, SVP and Director, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd says, “We have aligned our media planning and buying with dX Cubic and look forward to working with them.”
Divya Karani, CEO, Dentsu X said, “Yes, Honda Cars (HCIL) is aligning their media mandate with dX-cubic. The incumbent was GroupM.”
