Manish Aggarwal has been appointed as Business Head of Zee5 India, the OTT platform of Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL). Aggarwal previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Zee5.
Prior to his work with ZEEL, Aggarwal served as Vice President of Marketing Communications with the Chinese multinational corporation, LeEco. He was Vice President of Marketing and Head of Monetisation at Myntra and has also worked with notable companies such as, The Coco Cola Company, Proctor and Gamble, Mindshare and SGA.
Zee5, since its launch in mid-February, has been gaining significant traction and witnessing growth across viewership metrics of MAUs, video views and engagement levels. ZEEL claims that it is already among the top fiveentertainment platforms in the country.
The OTT platform also recently launched its original content called ZEE5 Originals. The platform has already released 14 ZEE5 Originals across six languages and have 20 more originals lined up for release.
