Netflix gets Ganji Chudail to endorse 'Murder Mubarak'
Capitalising on the Ganji Chudail lore, Netflix has roped in the beloved character as part of a movie marketing campaign for Murder Mubarak
Netflix's recent crime thriller starring Sara Ali Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi and Vijay Varma, Murder Mubarak, has become a part of the famed Ganji Chudail lore.
For the uninitiated, Ganji Chudail (bald witch) is a computer-generated viral animated series produced by Majedar Kahani. These short bite-sized videos revolved around the antics of a witch who goes about terrorising residents of an unnamed Indian village. They border on the bizarre with nonsensical storylines, which have incidentally found its audience on Instagram and YouTube.
Made originally for children, the series found ironical fans even in adults who enjoy the bizarreness of the stories.

Capitalising on the love for Ganji Chudail, Netflix has roped in the beloved character as part of a movie marketing campaign for Murder Mubarak.
The video features animated cameos by the characters of the movie such as Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Sanjay Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi.
Comments of disbelief flooded Netflix's Instagram post. "We really got Netflix x ganji chudail before GTA 6," said a user.
"This video was normal until I saw who posted it," said another.
"Honoured to be alive in this era," commented comedianne Mallika Dua.
Even Vijay Varma, who plays one of the lead roles in the film, couldn't help commenting: "I wasn’t prepared for this."
