Wrestling match turns into a recommendation showdown in Amazon Prime's new ad
The quirky ad has been conceptualised by MANJA and produced by Nirvana with Prakash Varma as the director
Amazon Prime has launched a new ad film that dramatises the process of show recommendation among OTT watchers. The ad by MANJA shows how a wrestling match between two opponents turns into a show recommendation showdown where every person in the hall jumps into the fray to recommend their favourite thing to watch on Amazon Prime.
"Kya khayein?’ ‘Kya pehnein?’ and ‘Kya dekhein?’ are the three questions that plague urban dwellers every day. With shows and movies that have defined popular culture for a few years now, the answer to the question Kya dekhein? is almost always on Amazon Prime. The latest campaign dramatizes how this seemingly innocuous question can lead to extreme outcomes, and many different answers. But the one thing common to these recommendations is that they are all on Amazon Prime," said the company.
The ad has been conceptualised by MANJA with Nirvana as the production house and Prakash Varma as the director.
MANJA and Amazon Prime had earlier collaborated on a campaign titled Sabki Zubaan Par Prime featuring the star from their show The Family Man, Manoj Bajpayee, and was built on the same insight. You can see the campaign here:
