Zomato renames 'pure veg mode' to 'veg only'

After the backlash over introducing a "green fleet" for vegetarian food deliveries, Zomato has now renamed its 'pure veg mode' to 'veg only'.
In an update on X, Zomato said: We have decided to rename the consumer side feature to “veg-only mode” instead of “pure veg mode” basis feedback.
The food delivery platform took to social media to share "clarifications" to questions about the "green fleet" it has been getting in the last few days.
In the answers, Zomato said that the delivery partners will "never be discriminated against on the basis of any criteria".
The veg-only feature will go live next week, Zomato said in the post.
