Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is all set to come back on the radio show Mann Ki Baat from June 30 onwards.
Making the announcement, Modi said, “I am happy to inform that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is back after a gap of a few months due to elections. This month’s program will be on Sunday, June 30. I call upon all of you to share your thoughts and inputs for this. Write on MyGov Open Forum, NaMo App, or record your message on 1800117800.”
He has also asked for feedback and suggestions from the audience until June 28, 2024.
Marking the 110th episode, the previous ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was aired on February 25, 2024. Now with Modi’s third consecutive term as Prime Minister, the show is going to resume. The upcoming episode will be the first one after Modi assuming charge as the PM for the third time.
An IIM survey showed, that the monthly radio broadcast ’Mann Ki Baat’ was listened to or viewed by at least 23 crore people. Over a billion people have listened to it at least once.
Apart from 22 Indian languages and 29 dialects, Mann Ki Baat is broadcast in 11 Foreign languages excluding English namely, French, Chinese, Indonesian, Tibetan, Burmese, Baluchi, Arabic, Pashtu, Persian, Dari and Swahili.
Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat was first aired on October 3, 2014, and used to broadcast on the last Sunday of every month at 11am on AIR and DD Network.
