Senior journalist Sujit Chatterjee who was associated with PTI for almost forty years has passed away, as per media reports. He was 65.
He had served as the PTI Bureau Chief in Delhi before hanging his boots in 2018 when he was Senior Assistant Editor.
Chatterjee was also posted as a correspondent in Pakistan apart from covering Home Affairs and Defence.
Industry colleagues mourned his passing. "I am saddened to learn about the demise of my friend and former colleague in PTI. Sujit was very affectionate and caring human being. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family," said an industry senior.
