Sun TV Network has successfully bid for the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise offered by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and has been awarded the Hyderabad franchise as long as the League continues for an amount of Rs 85.05 crore per year, payable for five years from 2013 to 2017.
Thereafter, from and including 2018 onwards an amount equal to 20 per cent of the franchise income received in such year has to be paid in four quarterly installments to BCCI.
