LIC takes to Print to counter rival co’s claims
LIC has issued ads in newspapers cautioning policyholders against claims by a firm called ACESCO
The Life Insurance Corporation of India has issued advertisements in leading newspapers cautioning its policyholders against claims by a firm called ACESCO.
ACESCO was allegedly monetising the assets of LIC policyholders.
ACESCO too had put out a print ad asking consumers too choose its ALIP service over LIC's offers. The text read: "Say no to surrender of your LIC policy instead opt for ALIP".
As per media reports, ACESCO floated its scheme in June with the claim that policyholders would get immediate payouts, continuity of risk benefits and revival of legal policies.
