COVID-19 update: No circulation of newspapers in Mumbai & around for next 2 days

There will be no circulation of physical edition of newspapers in Mumbai and the neighbouring areas for the next two days — March 24 and 25, highly placed sources have told exchange4media.
Brihanmumbai Vruttapatra Vikreta Sangh (BVVS), the newspaper vendors association, and the management of print media houses took place on Monday in order to arrive at a solution.
BVVS has said the circulation will resume on March 26 unless they get a futher notice from the government.
On Monday morning, media houses like the Times of India, Hindustan Times, Mid-Day and the Indian Express all announced that there will be no circulation of papers today.
Local train services have been suspended in Mumbai till March 31 to keep in with the advisory issued to check the spread of coronavirus. The city has reported 14 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, as per media reports.
