A graduate in History from Osmania University Swami completed Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGM) from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He was also enrolled at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur between 1974-79 but dropped out in the last year.
