My FM is all set to beef up its content line-up by launching two new interactive programmes – ‘Aradhana’ and ‘Kajal’ – in Ahmedabad.

The content of ‘Aradhana’ has been taken from well-known ‘kathakar’, Morari Bapu, who has written 700 kathas. Most of his work is inspired by Tulsidas’ Ramcharitmanas, Rama and Gopigeet, the songs sung by the gopis of Vrindavan in the praise of Krishna. ‘Aradhana’ will be aired between 6 am and 7 am as part of the FM station’s spiritual time band.

The show ‘Kajal’ will be hosted by Kajal Oza Vaidya, an eminent writer of Gujarati literature. Some of her well-known works include ‘Krishnayan’, a novel on Lord Krishna and the ladies in his life, and ‘Yog-Viyog’, a novel based on a chapter of the Mahabharata.

The first show will be based on Uttarayan, the kite flying festival of Gujarat. People can share their joys attached to the festival and talk to Kajal live on her show, thus making it more interactive.

The episodes of this show will be based on the term ‘me’ that has lost relevance in the hustle-bustle of life. Every day from 9 pm-12 midnight, Monday to Friday, Kajal will be resolving listeners’ issues and addressing their various concerns, be it relationship or career.

Commenting on the new shows, Harrish M Bhatia, CEO, 94.3 My FM, said, “We are committed to provide quality and innovative content to our listeners. We feel great due to the fact that highly prominent and renowned personalities are extending their support to fulfill our commitment. Morari Bapu will enlighten the listeners, while Kajal will play the part of the healer. The shows will prove to be stress relieving and are interactive in terms of knowledge and entertainment.”
