When RJ Malishka of Red FM released a fun song that completely reflected the monsoon woes that Mumbaikars face due to huge potholes, little did she know that it would create such a hullaballoo. In the video, Malishka makes a strong case against the shoddy work done by the BMC to fix roads during monsoons.

After the video went viral on social media, according to media reports,  two Yuva Sena members urged the municipal commissioner to file a Rs500-crore defamation suit against 93.5 Red FM. Irked with the criticism, the BMC issued a notice under section 381B of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (MMC) Act to Malishka’s mother Lily Mendosa for dengue breeding at her house in Bandra. Needless to say, the incident led to outrage on social media with several coming out in strong support of Malishka.

Now, Malishka has come up with another video where she thanks the common man for supporting her video and raising their voice not only against potholes but also all the unfairness that she and her family had to face.
