Amidst all the speculation of TAM and BARC coming together,  highly placed industry sources confirm that in a development this evening , TAM and BARC  will be forming a 49 -51 subsidiary Joint Venture for people meters, which is slated to supply raw data to BARC.

BARC will retain control of this JV.
