BARC Week 2: Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya leads top 5 programmes, Star Bharat tops overall market

In top five programmes of BARC week 2, Zee TV’s prime time shows Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya grabbed the first two position with 12533 Impressions (000s) and 11275 Impressions (000s). The re-run of Kumkum Bhagya on Zee Anmol grabbed third position with 10676 Impressions (000s).

Star Bharat garnered the first position in week 2 of Broadcast Audience Research Data (BARC) with 713443 Impressions (000s). Zee Anmol grabbed the second slot this week with 674543 Impressions (000s) followed by Colors on third position with 627061 Impressions (000s).

In top five programmes of week 2, Zee TV’s prime time shows Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya grabbed the first two position with 12533 Impressions (000s) and 11275 Impressions (000s) respectively. The re-run of Kumkum Bhagya on Zee Anmol grabbed third position with 10676 Impressions (000s).

Star Bharat’s two shows Kya Haal Mr Paanchal and Nimki Mukhiya bagged fourth and fifth spot with 10036 and 9831 Impressions (000s) respectively.

Zee TV and Sony Pal stood at fourth and fifth positions with 571781 Impressions (000s) and 561707 Impressions (000s) respectively.

Urban Hindi GEC

Colors continued to lead the market with a rise in numbers 457653 Impressions (000s) against 439287 Impressions (000s) last week. Whereas Star Plus witnessed a slight dip in the ratings and maintained its second slot with 356088 Impressions (000s) against 385880 Impressions (000s) in week 1 and Zee TV on third too saw a fall with 346290 Impressions (000s) against 350649 Impressions(000s) in the previous week.

In urban market as well, Zee TV's Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya bagged the first two slots with 7889 and 7057 Impressions (000s) respectively. Sab TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma bagged the third spot with 6872 Impressions (000s). Sony TV’s weekend show Super Dancer 2 stood at number four with 6384 Impressions (000s) and Star Plus Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlta Hai on fifth with 6234 Impressions (000s).

Star Bharat grabbed fourth spot with 341721 Impressions (000s) and Sony Entertainment Television on fifth with 310921 Impressions (000s).

Hindi GEC Rural

Zee Anmol continued to dominate the rural market with 508221 Impressions (000s) followed by Sony Pal on second slot with 384965 Impressions (000s) and Star Utsav stood on number three with 379734 Impressions (000s).

Zee Anmol garnered the first position in top five programmes list with 8512 Impressions (000s) followed by Baalveer on Sony Pal bagged second slot with 6675 Impressions (000s).Rishtey’s Tere Naal Ishq bagged third spot with 6142 Impressions (000s).

Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma re-runs on Sony Pal grabbed fourth spot with 6121 Impressions (000s) and Zee Anmol’s Jamai Raja stood on number five with 5634 Impressions (000s).

Star Bharat and Rishtey grabbed fourth and fifth slot with 371722 and 298159 Impressions (000s) respectively.
