Colors bags pole position in urban market: BARC Week 38
Last week, Sony Entertainment Television had emerged as the leader in the urban market.
Zee Anmol continues to be the leader in the overall market with 861 million impressions followed by Star Utsav on second spot with 702 million impressions, as per the BARC India data for Week 38. Colors stood at the third position with 695 million impressions.
Colors’ ‘Naagin 3’ continued to lead the list of top five programmes in the overall market with 15.4 million impressions, followed by Zee Anmol’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on second position with 13.3 million impressions and Colors’ ‘Dance Deewane Grand Finale’ on third with 10.8 million impressions. Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ bagged fourth and fifth slot with 10.1 and 9.5 million impressions, respectively.
Hindi GEC Urban
Colors replaced Sony Entertainment Television to grab the leadership position with 474 million impressions, followed by Star Plus on second position with 427.4 million impressions. Sony Entertainment Television came down to Number 3 with 427.3 million impressions. Zee TV and Sab TV grabbed fourth and fifth spots with 378 and 326 million impressions, respectively.

Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ stood on Number 3 with 6.4 million impressions, followed by Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on fourth spot with 6.0 million impressions and Sab TV’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ on the fifth spot with 5.7 million impressions.

Rishtey and Dangal TV bagged fourth and fifth spots with 344 million and 315 million impressions, respectively.
