DEN Networks' consolidated revenue for the quarter ended 30th June has dropped 6% to Rs 283 crore from Rs 303 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
Subscription revenue fell 13% to Rs 161 crore from Rs 185 crore. Placement/ Marketing income was down 4% to Rs 87 crore from Rs 91 crore. Activation revenue declined by 9% to Rs 19 crore from Rs 21 crore.
Total cost saw a 5% reduction at Rs 242 crore compared to Rs 255 crore. Content costs fell 8% to Rs 144 crore from Rs 156 crore.
The cable and broadband company's EBITDA shrank by 14% to Rs 41 crore from Rs 48 crore. Net profit nosedived by 69% to Rs 13 crore compared to Rs 41 crore.
DEN has cable operations in 500+ cities/towns across 13 key states. It also provides fixed broadband services across 41 Cities/Towns in India.
