Doordarshan to soon have a Creative Head: Prakash Javadekar
The Information and Broadcasting minister said the Creative Head will be tasked with improving quality of the programmes
Information and Broadcasting (IB) minister Prakash Javadekar has announced that Doordarshan will soon have a Creative Head, media reports said.
The Creative Head will be responsible for improving the quality of the programmes on the public broadcaster.
At the inauguration of Video Walls and Earth Station, the minister asked officials to work towards expanding the spread of DD Free Dish to 5 crore households.
Javadekar was also reported as saying that under the ministry’s three-year action plan, Doordarshan will be supported to modernise its infrastructure.
