GEC Watch: Sony manages to hold on to No. 2 spot
Sony continued as the No. 2 Hindi GEC for the second week in a row, but lost three points to garner a TVR of 242 in Week 35, 2011, as per TAM data. Its show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ continues strong at the 8.30 pm time band.

Sony continued as the No. 2 Hindi GEC for the second week in a row, but lost three points to garner a TVR of 242 in Week 35, 2011, as per TAM data. Its show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ continues strong at the 8.30 pm time band.
Meanwhile, Colors further lost four points to notch a TVR of 228 in Week 35, 2011. Star Plus’ dominance continued as the channel gained two point that took its TVR to 299, just on the verge of breaking into the 300-mark again.
On the other hand, Zee TV lost a massive 14 points from 194 TVR in the previous week to 180 TVR in Week 35, 2011.
SAB and Sahara One maintained their status quo at 128 TVR and 31 TVR, respectively. Imagine lost one point at 75 TVR, while Star One gained one point at 33 TVR in Week 35, 2011.
