Gen Next of Adhikari Brothers launches web film ‘Dheet Patangey’

The next generation of Sri Adhikari Brothers - Ravi and Kailash - are set to entertain the millennial audience with their first offering, a web feature film titled ‘Dheet Patangey’.
The film has been exclusively premiered on Hotstar. Set against the backdrop of the 1983 and 2011 Cricket World Cup Finals, the film follows four friends on an audacious journey of self-discovery, friendship and love. The film stars Shivin Narang, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Ali Murad, Hardik Sanghani, Tilotama Shom and Priya Banerjee in lead roles.
An elated Ravi Adhikari says, “Being a cricket enthusiast, when I came across this script, something within me made me feel that I had to tell this story. Audience tastes have evolved, and dynamic and edgy content is in. Our offering will bring together a fresh mix of romance, love for sport and most importantly, life.”
To keep up with the dynamic entertainment landscape, the Gen Next duo has named their wing Happii Digital. To add to this, Kailash Adhikari said: “It’s always been our sole aim to entertain our audiences. I personally believe that with the onset of web platforms our audiences’ viewing habits have changed and to cater to them we present ‘Dheet Patangey’ as a web feature. We hope they enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.”
