HBO celebrates festive October with special movie line-up
HBO is bringing a collection of superhits in five special themes -- Let's Salsa, Kids Power, Blockbuster Mania, Fantastic Portal and The Great Comedy Challenge – for the month of October to celebrate Diwali.
HBO is bringing an array of films for the month of October. A Diwali buffet which offers a collection of superhits in five special themes -- Let's Salsa, Kids Power, Blockbuster Mania, Fantastic Portal and The Great Comedy Challenge -- has been created by the movie channel for the festive celebration.
The channel will showcase movies under its ‘HBO Blockbuster of the Month’, ‘HBO See It First’, ‘HBO Friday Blockbusters’ and ‘HBO Sunday Superhits’. In addition to the blockbusters, HBO also brings the premiere of the original series ‘Rome-Season II’ to add zing to the celebration.
The channel premiered ‘Miami Vice’ on September 19 at 9 pm as the ‘HBO Blockbuster of the Month’. Every Saturday night at 9 pm, under the ‘HBO See It First’ block, the channel will premiere ‘North Country’ on October 6, ‘You, Me and Dupree’ on October 13, ‘Mindhunters’ on October 20, and ‘Rumour Has It’ on October 27.
Action-packed Friday nights under the ‘HBO Friday Blockbusters’ blocks at 9 pm will include ‘Rush Hour 2’, ‘Enter the Dragon’ and ‘King Kong’ on October 5, 12 and 26, respectively.
‘HBO Sunday Super Hits’ on Sundays at 9 pm will premiere hits like ‘The Exorcism of Emily Rose’, ‘Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets’, ‘Two Brothers’ and ‘House of Wax’.
