India Today TV’s Lucknow correspondent Nelanshu Shukla passes away due to COVID
Shukla was 30 and had joined India Today TV two years ago
Nelanshu Shukla, India Today TV’s Lucknow Correspondent, passed away today due to Covid-19. He was 30. Shukla had joined India Today two years ago.
Shukla tested positive for COVID-19 on August 20, 2020. He had undertaken a precautionary test, after his reporter friends from another channel tested positive. Asymptomatic initially, Shukla travelled to be with his family in Kanpur on August 23.
He was admitted to a private hospital on August 25. His lungs showed severe deterioration and he was, subsequently, moved to the Air Force Hospital in Kanpur on August 27 for intensive critical care, but he could not be saved.
