Ishq Ka Rang Safed; the promise of an early prime winner?
With launch of Ishq ka Rang Safed, Colors crosses 200 GRPs again, in week 33
Week 33 saw a rise in the viewership of Hindi GEC genre by 26 GRPs. Zee TV (which grew by 18 GRPs) and Colors (which grew by 12 GRPs) were the highest contributors to this increased viewership according to Tam Data.
A major reason for the growth of Colors was the launch a new program Ishq ka Rang Safed in Week 33 in 18:30 slot. It replaced Shastri Sisters which was on a declining trend TSV-wise.
Post launch of Ishq Ka Rang Safed, Colors has clearly emerged as the 2nd best channel in Hindi GEC Genre in that slot.
Launch of this new program has led to increase in both Reach and TSV for Colors in 18:30 Mon-Sat slot, with a rise in TSV which is quite significant .
