It’s ‘Rock-N-Roll’ time for Zee TV, as channel brings in replacement for ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’
Buoyed by the improvement in GRP, Zee TV is strengthening its programme line-up. The channel is launching ‘Rock-N-Roll’, a dance reality family entertainer that spans across three generations, from March 14, 2008 at 10 pm. The show would replace ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ in the weekend slot and has roped in Airtel as the official sponsor.

Speaking on the format, an official communiqué stated, “A total of 12 families from across the country have been selected and they comprise grandparents, parents and grandchildren, all dancing together as a team. The format is unique and has all the elements of drama and suspense that is nicely layered with talent. Only the best family would take away the title of the ‘Rock N Roll Family’.”
The channel has roped in Sharad Kelkar as the anchor of the show. The winning family would get to take home a cool Rs 50 lakh.
