Lankan channel Derana bags terrestrial rights for Lanka-New Zealand ODI series

Derana, Sri Lanka’s premium entertainment channel, has bagged the exclusive terrestrial rights for the forthcoming ODI series between Sri Lanka and New Zealand starting from December 22, 2006.

Derana, Sri Lanka’s premium entertainment channel, has bagged the exclusive terrestrial rights for the forthcoming ODI series between Sri Lanka and New Zealand starting from December 22, 2006.

Anup Chandrasekharan, CEO, Derana, said, “We once again reiterate our commitment to showcase the best for Sri Lankan viewers. Since the channel’s inception in the last 15 months, this is the sixth international series to be shown by Derana and the third involving Sri Lanka.”

He further said, “Derana has posted tremendous growth post its relaunch in October this year. We are confident that the Sri Lanka-New Zealand series will double the reach and GRP of the channel from its existing levels.”
