NBA announces new office bearers: Sameer Manchanda is Prez; Narayan Rao is VP & Barun Das is Treasurer
Following its Annual General Meeting held in Delhi today, the News Broadcasters Association (NBA) has announced its new office bearers. Taking on from TV Today’s G Krishnan as President, is Global Broadcast News’ Sameer Manchanda, who in the last term was Vice President of NBA. NDTV’s KV Narayan Rao, who was hitherto the Treasurer of NBA, is now Vice President and Zee News’ Barun Das is the new Treasurer.
The News Broadcasters Association (NBA) has just concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Capital. Following the meeting, the NBA has announced its new office bearers. Global Broadcast News’ Sameer Manchanda, who in the last term was Vice President of NBA, is now the President. He takes on the role from TV Today’s G Krishnan, who was President of the NBA since its inception.
NDTV’s KV Narayan Rao, who was hitherto the Treasurer of NBA, is now Vice President. The new face in the office bearers is Zee News CEO Barun Das, who is the new Treasurer of the Association.
Following the AGM, the NBA had also organised a luncheon meeting with key stakeholders of the industry. I&B Minister Ambika Soni, too, was present at this meeting.
