NP Singh ensured SPNI stayed stable: Sunil Lulla
The former BARC India CEO, Sunil Lulla speaks glowingly about NP Singh as the steadying force behind SPNI and his contributions towards the company's talent, clients and associates
NP Singh, the CEO and MD of Sony Pictures Network India, announced his decision on Friday to move on from his role at the organisation but will continue serving the role till a successor is found. Reacting to the development, his former colleague and ex-BARC India CEO Sunil Lulla spoke about Singh's legacy and his role in skippering SPNI to greatness.
"He is the one who ensured that Sony Network stayed stable," said Lulla about Singh.
Speaking to exchange4media, Lulla, who is currently the Chairman of Astrum, a data-driven reputation management advisory, said, “Mr N P Singh is a friend, an ex-colleague, an industry collaborator, a very tall leader and a superb human.”
“He ensured the Sony Network stayed stable and delivered great results. He has been a great collaborator to the company’s talent, team, its clients and its associates. I wish him huge joy and success in everything he does. I am very grateful for his support across the last 20 years + that I have known him,” said Lulla, who served as the Executive Vice President at Sony Entertainment Television from 2002 to 2005.
NP Singh will continue as the CEO and MD at SPNI till a successor is found. “I will continue to lead SPNI until we find the right person to take over. We have begun a structured succession planning process for my successor and hope to have exciting news to share in the near future. Finding the right fit is our top priority," he said.
