Partha Dey joins Dishum Broadcasting as COO
Dey to spearhead theprogramming & operations mandate for Bhojpuri GEC, Bhojpuri Dhamaka
Dishum Broadcasting which launched the Bhojpuri GEC ‘Bhojpuri Dhamaka – DISHUM’ has bolstered its management and announced the appointmentof Partha Dey as the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Based out of Mumbai, Dey will spearhead Dishum’s ambitious plans oftransforming the Bhojpuri entertainment landscape and becoming the channel of choice forBhojpuri speakers across the globe.
His portfolio shall include all broadcasting operations including Programming, OAP, ConsumerResearch & Branded Content.

Prior to the role, Dey had two years stint as a Senior Vice President with Reliance BroadcastingNetwork Limited (RBNL’s) Bhojpuri GEC- Big Ganga.
A documentary filmmaker by profession, he has over 20 years of experience in broadcastingmedia as a producer, director and creative director. He has helped launch/led successfulBhojpuri brands including Mahuaa, Dangal, Bhojpuri Cinema, and Big Ganga. He has alsoproduced and directed several documentaries, features and programming software for variousagencies like the Indian Air force, ARC RAW, OHM- Holland and Doordarshan.
