K Vijaykumar, former CEO & MD of Sun TV Network, has moved on to Udaya TV, the Kannada GEC from Sun Group’s stable. He was actively involved in the business and operations of Sun TV Network and monitored strategic initiatives for the company.
Sources close to exchange4media have confirmed the development and added that in his new role he will based in Bangalore. However, Vijaykumar could not be contacted for comments at the time of filing the report.
Vijaykumar has close to two decades of experience in the media industry. He had been associated with Sun TV Network since 1994. He was Senior Vice President, Kannada Programmes until March 2011. He served as COO of Sun TV Network for a period of four months before being made MD & CEO in April 2012.
