exchange4media, in collaboration with TAM Media Research, has been bringing Telepedia for over a year now. Telepedia aims to provide a quick overview of the changes in TV viewing behaviour every week to enable well-informed debate. The offering has a new avatar in 2009. The changes made are basis industry feedback and observations.
A key highlight of the new Telepedia is that apart from C&S, the genre share sheet would include shares at All 4 years+ as well as Digital 4 years+ too.
Some of the other key changes made in Telepedia include the addition of more TV channel genres. To simplify the presentation of the data, in the top five programmes section, TVR per cent, Duration, Time band, Day, Date columns have been deleted, and instead, only TVR in 000’s are placed. Instead of reporting top five programmes of only the latest week, the previous week’s would also be reported. There would be no comments sheet, as was seen in the previous Telepedia report, but a table.
