Ten Sports has agreed on new long-term tennis deals with both the US Open and the WTA Sunfeast Open, which is India’s premier women’s tennis event. The new five-year agreement with the US Open will allow the sports channel to broadcast the event exclusively to the Indian sub-continent, broadcasting live all the games played by Sania Mirza.

The WTA Sunfeast Open’s new multi-year agreement with Ten Sports commits the channel to support the biggest tennis event in India with a week of live coverage, highlights and promotional activities.

Commenting on the deals, Chris McDonald, CEO, Ten Sports, said, “It’s excellent to put the US Open and the Sunfeast Open in our calendar for years to come, helping to confirm our position as the Indian subcontinent’s top sports channel.”
