TV Today Q2 net up 40 pc at Rs 10.61 crore
TV Today Network, which airs the news channels Aaj Tak and Headlines Today, has reported a net profit of Rs 10.61 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009. This is against a net profit of Rs 7.57 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal, thus showing a 40 per cent jump.

TV Today Network, which airs the news channels Aaj Tak and Headlines Today, has reported a net profit of Rs 10.61 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009. This is against a net profit of Rs 7.57 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal, thus showing a 40 per cent jump.
Income from operations stood at Rs 64.54 crore, down 3.51 per cent in the second quarter. On the other hand, total expenditure was also down 4.72 per cent at Rs 56.11 crore in Q2 FY10. Other income had gone up to Rs 7.88 crore during the period under review.
