Warner Bros Discovery mulling to split digital streaming & studio businesses: Reports
As per reports, Warner Bros Discovery has reached out to rival media groups for merger and acquisition possibilities
Warner Bros Discovery is considering splitting its digital streaming and studio businesses from its TV networks in the wake of its dipping share prices.
As per reports, Chief Executive David Zaslav is looking at options like selling of assets to separating Warner Bros and Max into a new company.
e4m reported in May that Walt Disney and Warner Bros Discovery have reportedly announced they will be bundling Disney+, Hulu and Max streaming services to US customers.
The word in the market is that Warner Bros Discovery has sought out rival media groups to see if they are keen on any merger and acquisition deals.
While the media companies have not announced prices, they had said the bundles will comprise plans without ads.
The combined service was seen as a move to stave off competition from rivals like Amazon Prime and Netflix.
