Zee News’ campaign ‘India First’ gains momentum, goes 360 degree

Zee News has announced the support of more celebrities for its month-long ‘India First’ campaign, including Salman Khan, Baichung Bhutia, Priyanka Chopra, and Shahid Kapur. The channel intends to promote this campaign across all mediums, which is aimed at spreading the message of unity in the country.

After running for over a month now, Zee News ‘India First’ campaign claims to have garnered support from celebrities like Salman Khan, Baichung Bhutia, Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapur, Suniel Shetty, Boney Kapoor and Prabhudeva, among others. The aim of the ‘India First’ campaign is to spread the message of unity in India and to work towards the prosperity and betterment of the country.

The campaign intends to go 360 degree to expand its reach. In the television space, all the Zee Network channels will be actively use to spread the campaign, in fact, the promos have already begun. The creatives have been done entirely by the in-house team. N a week’s time, Zee News will be airing a weekly 30-minute bulletin dealing with the various issues related to the campaign’s theme and with an aim to know the country better. In its on-ground activities, the channel is said to have conducted various contests and even distributed various merchandise.

The duration of the campaign will depend on the objectives being achieved. Apart from celebrities, the channel will be joining hands with NGOs and governments agencies as well in order to increase the effectiveness of the campaign. Zee News has also conducted a signature campaign and encouraged people to pledge to make India first in all instances. In addition, students from different educational institutions have performed skits and cultural programmes in sync with the initiative.
