Jharkhand Govt invites tenders for ad rights on bus stops

The State Transport Department, Government of Jharkhand, has invited sealed tenders under the ‘two-cover’ system from advertising agencies offering ad rights on hoardings at different bus stops located in various zones of the state.

The State Transport Department, Government of Jharkhand, has invited sealed tenders under the ‘two-cover’ system from advertising agencies offering ad rights on hoardings at different bus stops located in various zones of the state. The contract shall be awarded for a period of one year. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required for this tender is Rs 50,000.

To be eligible for the contract, the agencies should have an experience of at least five years in the advertising field and should have a minimum annual turnover of at Rs 50 lakh over the last two financial years. Agencies empanelled with the Department of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) would be preferred for the contract.

Tender forms can be obtained from the office of the Transport Commissioner, FFP Bhavan Dhurva, Ranchi, till 5 pm on October 23, 2010, on payment of Rs 500 through a demand draft drawn in favour of: State Transport Commissioner, Jharkhand, Ranchi.

Applicants shall be required to deposit the EMD through a demand draft drawn in favour of: State Transport Commissioner, Jharkhand, Ranchi.

Duly completed tender documents will have to submitted latest by 2 pm on October 26, 2010. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3 pm.
