Abhishek Ganguly, MD at Puma India and Southeast Asia, along with Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Puma India Amit Prabhu and Executive Director and Head - Sales & Operations at Puma India Atul Bajaj, are quitting the company to start their sports venture. The three have confirmed the development. The trio will start their entrepreneurial journey with a private equity-funded start-up in the sports ecosystem.
The announcement of the start-up will happen in a few days.
Ganguly's last working month with the company will be in August. After he leaves, Karthik Balagopalan, who is currently based in the company’s Germany office, wil take over as the MD.
