Ajit Thakur joins MSM as Business Head - Sony
Multi Screen Media has roped in Ajit Thakur as Business Head of its flagship Hindi general entertainment channel Sony Entertainment Television. Thakur joins the company from today. He moves from Balaji Motion Pictures, where he was working as CEO.
Multi Screen Media (MSM) has finally filled the gap of a Business Head for its flagship Hindi general entertainment channel Sony Entertainment Television. As is known, the post has been vacant ever since Albert Almeida quit the company earlier in the year. Thakur joins the company from July 1, 2009. He would be reporting to NP Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Multi Screen Media.
Thakur moves from Balaji Motion Pictures, where he was working as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, he was with UTV Pictures as Chief Operating Officer.
MSM officials were not available for comments at the time of filing the report. Sources close to the situation have, however, confirmed the development to exchange4media.
