After a stint of almost three years, Bhaskar Group’s Executive Director Bharat Kapadia has decided to move on. Kapadia had joined the group in March 2005 as Executive Director on Divya Bhaskar. He was subsequently elevated to his current position in May 2007.

Kapadia confirmed the development, stating that he would continue to be advisor to the Bhaskar Group but was looking for “exciting challenges” now.

Kapadia said, “I have had a very satisfying stint at the Bhaskar Group. I was able to turn around Divya Bhaskar in two years, and I handled the Taj project single-handedly. I am very satisfied with my experience here. However, these are exciting times for media, and I am looking for something more challenging now.”

Kapadia would take a call on destination next soon, though he informed he had a few offers at hand. Prior to this, Kapadia was with the Chitralekha group as Publisher.
