Dev Shenoy to take over the role of Amrutha Nair who is on a year-long break

Disney Star has appointed Dev Shenoy as the Head of Entertainment, Ad Sales and Strategy, the role which was earlier being managed by Amrutha Nair before she left for a year-long break.

According to reliable sources, Shenoy, who has been with Disney for over 20 years and is currently the Head of Ad Sales for the Entertainment business, will be filling Nair’s shoes and taking up the responsibilities from July 4.

Shenoy was elevated to Head of Sales for the Entertainment business in October 2022 after Nair’s elevation to Head of Entertainment, Ad Sales and Strategy. Shenoy earlier reported to Nair.

Nair is currently at Stanford, California to pursue MSx program at Stanford University.

exchange4media had reported in May this year that Amrutha Nair, who has been with Disney Star for over 18 years, will be going on a year-long sabbatical to pursue the program.

Shenoy will be managing her role till she returns next year, said a source close to the development.
