exchange4media has learnt that Kapil Arora, the co-chairman and CEO of 82.5 Communications, will be joining Ogilvy Indonesia in a leadership role.
Sources close to the development have confirmed the news to exchange4media, even as Arora and Ogilvy were unavailable for comment.
Arora spent over four years in 82.5 and had joined the agency just before the pandemic. He was able to build a strong second agency from the Ogilvy Group. The roster of clients included IDBI, Havells, Himalaya, ITC, Nestle, Bisleri, RSPL, FT, TCS, Costa Coffee and more.
Arora prior to that was the President of Ogilvy North and is a veteran at the agency, having spent nearly 20 years with Ogilvy in India.
He has led the agency’s Delhi office for six years, working on brands like KFC, BMW and India’s ruling political party, the BJP, among others.
