S Shivakumar elevated as CEO of News18 Studio
Sidharth Saini elevated as Chief Operating Officer of News18 Studio
Network 18 has announced the elevation of S Shivakumar to the role of CEO – News18 Studio. Shivakumar will continue to report to Avinash Kaul, CEO - Network18 (Broadcast) and Puneet Singhvi, CEO - Digital & President - Corporate Strategy at Network18.
The company has also elevated Sidharth Saini as Chief Operating Officer of News18 Studio, making him in charge of the fast-growing events business. Sid, a veteran of News18 Studios, has added strategic and marketing sheen to this vertical with his incessant focus and drive.
Further, Don Zarrar has been elevated as CRO – News18 Studio for Business News & Firstpost and Sahil Shetty as CRO – News18 Studio for Moneycontrol.com and News18.com.
Janardhan Menon will now oversee branded content revenue for General News Business, notably CNN News18 and other general news channels. Teby Sebastian will lead the branded content revenue for Forbes and Overdrive, while Hemanth Kumar will lead branded content revenue from startups and emerging businesses.
Manprit Sardana has been elevated as Chief Operating Officer- Network IPs & Palette with immediate effect. In her enhanced role, she will continue to report into Santosh Menon while working closely with Avinash and Puneet.
The changes in leadership have been announced in an internal email, e4m has learnt.
