Zee Media has appointed senior journalist Santosh Kumar as the Editor of Zee Bharat. Apart from this, he has also been given an important role in the group's social media department.
Confirming the news to e4m’s siter concern samachar4media, Santosh Kumar said, “Yes, I have joined Zee Bharat as the editor. I will have an active role in social media as well.”
Santosh Kumar was earlier serving as the social media in-charge of the Uttar Pradesh government. He was also a member of a team monitoring news channels.
This is Santosh Kumar's second innings with 'Zee Media'.
During his nearly 22-year journey in the media, Santosh Kumar has worked for nearly 10 years in 'Star News' (now ABP News), nearly eight years in 'Zee Media', nearly three years in 'Network18', and also nearly one year in 'India News'.
During his previous tenure in Zee Media, Santosh Kumar has worked on many important posts like Business Reporter, Political Reporter, Parliament Reporter, Bureau Chief in Jharkhand, Bihar Jharkhand Channel Incharge. Santosh Kumar has also worked as the Editor of Jharkhand in Network18.
