Surinder Chawla to join BCCL as President & Head of Response
Chawla was earlier the CEO and MD of Paytm Payments Bank
Surinder Chawla, ex-MD and CEO of Paytm Payments Bank, has been appointed as the President and Head of Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group) Response, reliable sources have told e4m.
Chawal quit Paytm Payments Bank in April this year citing personal reasons. Chawla joined Paytm in February 2023. Before that, he was with RBL Bank as the head of branch banking.
Surinder Chawla has extensive experience across the banking and finance sector, serving as the Head of Branch Banking at RBL Bank before.
He has also worked for HDFC Bank, ABN AMRO Bank NV and Standard Chartered Bank.
