VML appoints Harsh Shah as Managing Partner

VML has appointed Harsh Shah as the Managing Partner. Shah was the Chief Digital Officer at the agency.

Shah was appointed as Chief Digital Officer at Wunderman Thompson South Asia on 17th January 2023.

Before that, Shah was with Dentsu Creative as President – West, and led operations, revenue, people and culture for Dentsu Webchutney, and regional business for the rest of Dentsu Creative.

Sources have confirmed with us that Anurag Tandon has decided to move on from the agency. Tandon was hired as Managing Partner to lead its Mumbai operations in May 2022. His role involved rowing the client base in Mumbai and closely working with teams on providing business solutions for brands by leveraging the agency’s capabilities of creative, technology, strategic consultancy, commerce and data-driven experience and design.

Last week, VML announced that Babita Baruah will join as Chief Executive Officer of India from March 1, 2024, and will partner with Saurabh Saksena, who has been elevated into the role of President.

Meanwhile, Shamsuddin Jasani announced that he will be stepping down from the role of CEO at Wunderman Thompson South Asia.
