Bank of Rajasthan has appointed Prana Public Relations to handle its corporate communication responsibilities. The bank has chosen Prana over Percept Profile.

The Bank of Rajasthan has appointed Prana Public Relations to handle its corporate communication responsibilities, informed an official release. The bank, which is in the process of shifting its corporate headquarters to Mumbai from Jaipur, has chosen Prana over Percept Profile.

Prana has recently appointed senior financial journalist and analyst Kiran Pandya as Group Head for the Financial Services and Investor Relations group. Kiran’s last assignment was as Business Correspondent for Mid Day.

An Adfactors Group company, Prana has handled several prestigious clients from the technology, healthcare and the financial services sectors, including the IFC-funded Spryance Inc, Nasdaq-listed Watchguard Technologies, Dimension Data-promoted Nihilent Technologies, the Computer Society of India, Patni Computers, Biocon, Asian Heart Institute, e-broking firm Sharekhan, corporate advisory firm Brescon, Essel group-owned Intrex India and Aftek Infosys.

A recent Ernst & Young Best Banks survey has ranked Bank of Rajasthan as the fastest growing old private sector bank. The survey has ranked the bank as sixth in overall performance amongst old private sector banks. It is a significant jump over the previous year’s stand of 19. The total business carried out by the bank has crossed Rs 10,000 crore as per the provisional figures available for the year ending March 31, 2004.
