IPAN has been assigned the PR mandate for British Telecommunications (BT) India. BT is the provider of communications solutions and services, operating in 170 countries. Apart from this, BT claims that it has been the No. 1 company in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the last seven years consistently.

Commenting on the win, Radhika Shapoorjee, President, IPAN India, said, “We are very happy to win the BT business in India. Our endeavour is to take forward the already reputed image that BT enjoys in India. This is a welcome addition and we proudly look forward to building BT brand across its stakeholders.”

BT’s principal activities include networked IT services, local, national and international telecommunications services, and higher-value broadband and Internet products and services. BT consists principally of four lines of business – BT Global Services, Openreach, BT Retail and BT Wholesale.

BT is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BT Group Plc and encompasses virtually all businesses and assets of the BT Group. BT Group Plc is listed on stock exchanges in London and New York.
